The Art of Huang Fu

Since childhood, I’ve been captivated by fantasy & sci-fi movies, TV, graphic novels and illustrations.  In later years, I’ve been fascinated by the ingenuity behind these wonders – thought-processes, material, mechanical, digital, or otherwise – and their roles and capabilities in each of the artforms.  The more I learn the more appreciate how far ahead of our time the master artists of story-telling, illustration and special effects and filmmaking are.  The fantastic, the mythological & scientifically incredible all take my fancy – bring’em on!

Having lived, studied and worked around the straightlaced and the technical most of my life, I have a dangerous build-up of desire to try and unleash some fantastical stuff of my own (hmm..).  Now that I’m all-growed-up, I enjoy giving people pieces of info I come across about past, present & future movies & art.  I also love creating, through art, character-driven scenes and worlds of my own and recreating scenes from legends and mythology of diverse cultures.
